The event featured about a hundred participants (whether they be delegates, chairs, experts or faculty advisors), creating a diverse and vibrant community of individuals passionate about shaping the future of learning.

This MUN simulation aimed to address pressing global challenges, with a specific focus on sustainable education. Five committees were therefore constituted to tackle different aspects of these challenges, such as global health, climate, and sustainable education for all.

Participants engaged in extensive preparation, including workshops, research, and developing persuasive policy briefs in order to equip themselves with the necessary knowledge and communication skills. The conference took place from March 9th to 13th at Saint Louis University in Brussels. Throughout the event, delegates had the opportunity to interact with diplomats and experts, gaining insights into diplomatic negotiations and the rules of procedure, and above all to take part of committee sessions, where students collaborated, debated, and worked towards finding common ground.

This very special MUN edition proved transformative for participants, fostering personal growth, confidence, and the development of crucial skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and public speaking: accomplishments and outstanding performance was thus noticed. Overall, the Circle U. MUN conference in Brussels exemplified the power of cooperative learning and international collaboration: it provided a platform for sharing ideas, engaging in debates, and working towards collective solutions regarding sustainable education.
